Hi Milly,

It's probably due to the sugar content, they contain about 7g sugar per serving. However these are natural sugars and other benefits, IMO, outweigh this one. They are high in fiber which slows down the blood sugar response and also a great source of Vitamin C. Recent research shows that they help to widen blood vessels so you get more oxygen into your system. So great for post workout!
