We've all been there: we decide to lose a few pounds and start working out and eating right. A month later the scale says: 0.0 lbs lost. For many, this is where we give up: It seems pointless to try if we aren't making progress. This is where the InBody is so helpful. We can track body FAT loss and lean mass GAIN. Perfect example below: this client came to me in April wanting to lose weight, he said. The Inbody showed his weight was 220.1 lbs with a body fat of 24.6%. He showed some uneven lean mass as well as fat mass distributriton between his right and left sides. We put him on a plan and four months later (August), while his weight remains THE SAME (220.4lbs), his body fat is now 20.7%. He lost 8 lbs of fat and gained 4 lbs of muscle (and is therefore better hydrated). He went from a 38 to a 34 pant size, from an XL to an L T-shirt.
Weight is irrelevant. Body Fat % is what matters.
